Shark Run 5K and Kids Shark Color Fun Run 2026

The race.

The 19th Annual Shark Run 5K takes place October 17, 2026, in Bay Head, NJ, benefiting the Bay Head Home & School Association to support extracurricular activities, classroom enhancements, and school programs. The 5K course starts at East Avenue and Karge Street and runs through Bay Head, finishing at the Municipal Parking lot; the Kids Shark Color Fun Run (1K) begins at 10:00 am at the Municipal Building. Race day registration and packet pickup run from 7:00 am to 8:00 am, with the 5K starting at 8:30 am and awards announced at 9:30 am. Entry fees are $35 for the 5K ($40 after September 30, 2025) and $25 for the kids run, both including t-shirts (not guaranteed for late registrations). First Aid services will be available at the Bay Head Fire House parking lot throughout the event.
