Shark Week Showdown 5K, 10K - Dallas, TX 2026

Shark Week Showdown offers five race distances held July 26, 2026, at Confirmed Beard Park in Little Elm, Texas. Participants can choose from a Kids Dash (50 meters), 1 Mile, 5K (3.11 miles), 10K (6.22 miles), or 9.33-mile option. The Kids Dash begins at 6:55 AM, with the main races starting at 7:00 AM following the National Anthem. All finishers in the 1 Mile, 5K, and 10K receive medals and race shirts, with chip timing for the 5K and 10K. Age-group awards are available for both timed distances across 14 categories (ages 10 and under through 70+), and overall male and female winners receive Bigfoot Trophies. Masters runners (40+) earn recognition pins. Packet pickup runs from 5:30–6:40 AM. The course features aid stations, and post-race treats are provided for all participants.
