The race.
Sherwood Memorial Park hosts a Run for Donuts 5K and Fun Run on November 7, 2026, in Salem, VA. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile 5K or a 1.5-mile Fun Run on park paths. All finishers receive a donut and a knit beanie hat (guaranteed for registrations before September 30). The 5K awards include finisher medals for overall top three male and female finishers, plus top three finishers in ten age categories from 9 and under through 80 and over; Fun Run participants receive beanies only. Early registration pricing ends September 30. Proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House Southwest Virginia.
