Shipley Donut Dash 2026

The race.

The Shipley Donut Dash takes place October 17, 2026, at Sam Houston Race Park in Houston, TX, offering seven distance options: a 26.2-mile marathon, 13.1-mile half marathon, 10K (7:00 AM start), 6.2 miles, 5K (8:00 AM start), 1 mile, 0.5-mile kids dash (9:45 AM start), and a virtual 10K. All in-person finishers receive a dri-fit shirt, donut-shaped medal, race bib, and Shipley donut with coffee at the finish line, with two additional donut stations on the course. The top three male and female finishers overall earn medals and donut gift certificates, while age-group medals go to top three finishers in each of 15 age categories in the 10K and 5K races. Proceeds benefit Kids' Meals, a nonprofit providing nutritious lunches to over 3,600 preschool-aged children in poverty. Packet pickup occurs Friday, October 16, from noon to 7:00 PM, with race-day pickup available 6:00–7:45 AM for an additional $10, or packets can be shipped for $15.95.
