The Solidarity Sidekick down Route 66 — Stop 5 in Gardner is a 6.6-kilometer run held September 2, 2026, in Gardner, Illinois, as part of the Illinois Adventure Series organized by Spirits Run. This daytime event supports ALS awareness and Enric Casacuberta's Route 66 run. Participants receive a custom bib, post-run refreshments, and a Route 66 charm to add to an official series medal earned at each stop. Event shirts are available for optional purchase during registration. All proceeds support ALS awareness and Enric's mission running the Illinois section of Route 66.
