Southern Lights Stroll 5K 2026

The race.

The Southern Lights Stroll 5K takes place November 21, 2026, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The chip-timed 5K race starts at 5:30 PM, with an untimed stroll option beginning at 6:00 PM (participants must be on course by 8:00 PM). The course begins in front of the Visitors Center and finishes in the Holiday Village. Packet pickup is available at the Visitor Information Center on November 19 from 4:30–7:00 PM, November 20 from 4:30–7:00 PM, and November 21 starting at 4:00 PM. Limited-edition event shirts are provided to the first 2,000 registered adults; children 12 and under may participate free without a race shirt. Post-race activities include photos with Santa, a peppermint café, mini train rides, and holiday entertainment in the Holiday Village.
