Splash Dash 5k (& Dry Run 5k) at Wild Rivers in Irvine 2026

The race.

The Splash Dash 5K takes place August 23, 2026, at Wild Rivers Waterpark in Irvine. Participants choose between the Splash Dash course, which finishes by running through 2.5 feet of water in the lazy river, or the Dry Run option that stays dry and follows a modified 3.1-mile route. All finishers receive a custom medal, choice of beach towel or race t-shirt, and age division awards. RFID chip timing is provided. Runners must bring at least two canned goods or $5 cash to support South County Outreach. All participants must exit the park by 9:30 a.m., with awards beginning at 8:45 a.m. for overall winners and 9 a.m. for age divisions.
