About the race
The race.
The St. Veronica 6k Run/Walk for Scholarships takes place September 20, 2026, at 9:00 am on the paved Vollmer Grove Trail in Olympia Fields, Illinois. Participants may run the 6K (3.71 miles) or walk the 3K (1.8 miles). Entry includes chip timing, course marking, race t-shirt for early registrants (by September 18), and prizes. Medals go to top three overall finishers and top three in age groups 14 & Under through 70+, awarded at approximately 10:15 am. The event supports the St. Veronica Kwanzaa Ministry Scholarship program. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Packet pickup occurs race day at 8:00 am; race day registration runs 7:30–8:30 am for $40.
