The race.

The Star of Texas 50 Miler event takes place December 13, 2026, at Pace Bend Park in Spicewood, Texas, with a 9:30 AM start time. Participants can choose from five distances: 50-mile ultramarathon, 50K, marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, and 5K. The marathon course is USATF-certified (code TX25015LAB) and qualifies for Boston Marathon entry. All race distances use a 1.64-mile loop format on a fully paved surface with moderate climbs and gentle descents. Every finisher receives a challenge coin and medal. The event is organized by Fit Foundation and includes professional chip timing with frequent split times at each loop.
