The race.
Summer Meltdown Half Marathon in Fort Worth starts at 7 AM on August 23, 2026, at Farrington Field with five race distances: a 20-yard Kids Dash for ages 10 and under, a 1-mile race for all ages, a 3.11-mile 5K, a 6.55-mile Quarter Marathon, and a 13.1-mile Half Marathon. All races include finisher medals and t-shirts. The 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon are chip-timed and award trophies to overall male and female winners, special recognition pins to masters winners (age 40+), and age-group award pins across categories from 10 and under through 65-69. The Kids Dash is untimed and includes an exclusive recognition pin. Post-race refreshments, including Kona Ice, are available at the finish.
