Summer Sizzler- Rochester 2026

The race.

The Summer Sizzler takes place on August 9, 2026, in Rochester, Minnesota, and offers distances of 50 meters, 1 mile, 3.1 miles, 6.2 miles, and 9.3 miles, plus virtual and volunteer-and-run options. Finishers in the 5K, 10K, and 15K receive a designer shirt and custom medal, while 1-mile participants receive a designer shirt and challenge pin. The kids' dash for ages 10 and under includes a youth shirt and pin, with free participation available for those declining merchandise. Chip timing with live results, free race photos, awards, and Kona Ice refreshments are provided at the finish. Youth pricing applies to 5K and 10K distances for runners 12 and under at $17. Virtual race registration allows participants to complete their distance anywhere while earning the same finisher swag. Registration closes at midnight on the Thursday two weeks before race day to guarantee shirt sizes.
