Sundae Runday 2026

The race.

Sundae Runday takes place August 16, 2026, in Seattle, WA, featuring six distance options: a 10K, 5K, 2.3-mile walk, 2.5-mile option, 400-yard kids dash, and a non-running ice cream option. Race day begins with registration and packet pickup at 8:30 AM, followed by a costume contest at 9:00 AM, kids dash at 9:15 AM, 10K start at 9:30 AM, and 5K/2-mile start at 9:45 AM. All finishers receive ice cream sundaes with toppings, a finisher's item, and access to water and whipped cream at the halfway point. The course runs through Seward Park and along Lake Washington shores. Additional festivities include free event photos, a kid's tent with games and crafts, a costume contest, and welcome for dogs as running companions. Registration prices vary by distance and deadline, with early bird rates starting at $30 for the 5K and $35 for the 10K. Kids 15 and under pay $25, and the kids dash costs $10. The event benefits Let Me Run, a character development program for boys.
