Swing Bridge Run 2026

Description

The Swing Bridge Run will be on Saturday, November 7th, 2026 . Join Holy Trinity Classical Christian School in cooperation with the City of Beaufort for a 5K Run and All Ages Bridge Walk through historic downtown Beaufort and across the Woods bridge on a USATF certified 5k course.

The Swing Bridge Run is the 2nd race of the Beaufort Triple Crown Race Series. This includes the Run Forrest Run(Oct.3), Swing Bridge Run (Nov. 7) and Turkey Trot (Nov. 26). Register for the 2026 Beaufort Triple Crown Bundle (on this website) to support three local nonprofits - Beaufort Digital Corridor, Holy Trinity Classical Christian School, and Habitat for Humanity of the Lowcountry. Participants who complete the race series will be eligible for special awards for the best combined time. ONLY 125 SPOTS AVAILABLE! Register before the Oct. 1 cutoff!

Don't like to run? Support our event by registering as a walker. Registered Walkers will not be timed and will turn around at the end of the bridge before Meridian Road. Registered Walkers will receive a t-shirt with registration. T-shirts must be picked up at packet pickup - but will not be issued a race bib.

Please note that all online registration closes on Wednesday, November 4th at midnight so that we can print race bids etc.

The race will be preceded by a Sunrise Prayer Gathering at 7:15 am under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park where all are invited to join. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and join us as we pray for the students and families of our Beaufort community, as well as for Holy Trinity's sister school Good Shepherd Academy in South Sudan.

Fri, Nov. 6th RACE PACKET PICK-UP / LATE REGISTRATION TIME 1 10 AM - 5 PM 📍Grounded Running

We strongly suggest that you take advantage of this opportunity to do registration, race packet, hoodie and t-shirt pickup because the race day registration table lines can get long! 11am until 1pm Beaufort Memorial Hospital will have their Mobile Wellnes Unit at Grounded Running

***If you do not pick up your packet until the day of the race, please note the location of packet pickup is the start/finish line of the race, NOT GROUNDED RUNNING. Ensure you arrive with plenty of time to stand in line as registration will close promptly at 7:45 AM to keep the start of the race on time.

Sat. Nov. 7th DAY OF RACE/PACKET PICK UP / LATE REGISTRATION TIME 2 7:00-7:45 AM 📍 Start/Finish Line of Race (Bay Street between the Downtown Marina and Best Western - NOT GROUNDED RUNNING).

Race day registration, race bib, hoodie and t-shirt pick-up will be available from 7:00am-7:45am at the race location in downtown Beaufort at Freedom Park Sunrise Prayer Gathering at 7:15 am under the pavilion at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park where all are invited to join. Please bring a chair or a blanket to sit on and join us. Thank you to Beaufort Memorial Hospital for providing a First Aid tent at the race.

8:00 AM Sharp Race Start for runners 8:20 am: All Ages Bridge walk starts, walkers fall in behind runners. 8:45 am: Award Ceremony

T Shirts and Merchandise :

To ensure the t-shirt size you desire, please register early. We cannot guarantee a t-shirt or your size preference for any participant that registers AFTER OCTOBER 17TH Swing Bridge Run Hoodies are available for purchase until October 17th and can be picked up Friday, November 1st from 10am until 5pm at Grounded Running or at the race on Saturday. Due to the size of the race. All shirts and hoodies MUST BE PICKED UP at packet pickup or on race day. Any items not picked up by the end of the race will be made available for re-sale. NO EXCEPTIONS, NO REFUNDS and NO DELIVERIES!!
