About the race
The race.
The Taco Trot 5K takes place on September 12, 2026, in Guntersville, Alabama, with the race beginning and ending at the Guntersville Recreation Center. The 5K course follows a route along Lake Guntersville's shoreline. Event shirts are guaranteed for all participants who register before September 1st. After finishing, participants receive tacos and refreshments. Race proceeds benefit Family Services of North Alabama, which provides workforce development, education, victim services, and prevention programs across Northeast Alabama.
