The race.
Haywood Community College invites participants to hike at least 1 mile on November 17, 2026, in Clyde, NC, as part of National Take a Hike Day. Hikers may complete their route on or off campus. To enter the prize drawing, participants must email HCC-studentlife@haywood.edu with proof of completion—such as a screenshot from a fitness app, smartwatch, or distance tracker—along with their full name and HCC email address. All HCC students and employees may participate, though only students are eligible to win prizes.
