The race.

The Thanksgiving Gobble Trot offers 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and 1-mile distances on November 28, 2026, in Austin, Texas. Participants choose from four staggered wave start times beginning at 7:30 a.m., with coordinators supporting runners for three hours after the first wave. All finishers receive a technical running shirt (shipped to their registered U.S. address), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway item, digital training pack, and online certificate of completion. Race bibs are distributed on race day; timing is optional and can be tracked via personal apps or coordinator assistance. A virtual run option is available for those unable to attend in person. Post-race, participants can log additional miles to generate $1 donations per mile to partner charities through an optional fundraising program.
