The race.

The Atomic Multisport Event by Personal Best Racing takes place October 10, 2026, at TVA Melton Hill Dam in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Participants can choose from Individual Half Iron, Relay Half Iron, Aqua-Bike Half Iron, Athena Half Iron (female 165+), Individual Sprint, Relay Sprint, Athena Sprint (female 165+), or Sprint Aqua-Bike formats. Race day begins at 8 AM EST with packet pickup available Friday 5–6:30 PM or Saturday 6:30–7:30 AM at the race site. The swim features a two-loop rectangle course starting at the dam; the bike and run courses traverse the dam area, with half-iron participants completing two loops on each. Cutoff times apply: 1 hour 15 minutes for swim, 5 hours 15 minutes for bike, and 7 hours 15 minutes to the run halfway point. Event shirts are guaranteed only to those registering at least two weeks in advance. USA Triathlon licensing is required; one-day licenses cost $15, annual memberships $50, and youth licenses $10.
