The Caving Cow 5K and Half Marathon 2026

The race.

The Caving Cow 5K and Half Marathon takes place on April 18, 2026, in McMinnville, Tennessee. Participants choose between a 3.11-mile 5K or a 13.1-mile half marathon, both starting in an open field before reaching trail terrain on Cardwell Mountain. The courses feature double and single-track trails with rocks, roots, and elevation gain, culminating in an out-and-back section through Cumberland Caverns that requires a headlamp. Registration includes chip timing, a race shirt, a swag bag, and access to aid stations at the start/finish line and halfway point. Runners receive a glow stick at the cave turnaround to carry to the finish line.
