The Devils Race Track Backyard Ultra takes place October 10, 2026, at Wade Mountain Preserve in Huntsville, Alabama. The course consists of a 4.167-mile loop that must be completed within one hour to continue racing. The first portion of each loop runs on road before transitioning to single-track trail. After dark, the course shifts entirely to road until sunrise. Runners must be present at the starting corral when the hourly horn sounds or cannot begin the next loop. The race follows the traditional backyard ultra format with a new loop starting each hour.
