The race.
The Golden Grizzlies Festival of Races takes place September 27, 2026, in Rochester, MI, featuring a 400m kids run, 3.1-mile run/walk, and 6.2-mile run on Oakland University's campus with a finish on the Elaine Leigh track. Packet pickup is race morning from 7:30–9:00 a.m., with kids run starting at 9:10 a.m. and the 5K and 10K starting at 9:30 a.m. Proceeds benefit Oakland University's Cross Country and Track and Field programs.
