The race.
The Great Trailhead Foot Race 5 & 10 Miler takes place October 17, 2026, at Bear Creek Lake Park in Lakewood, Colorado. Runners can compete in a 10-mile distance, which consists of two laps on single-track and dirt trail. Registration includes all-day park entry, a post-race meal with hot dogs, chips, protein bars, bananas, and non-alcoholic beverages. Finishers of the 10-mile distance receive a commemorative mug. Alcoholic beer is available for participants 21 and older with valid identification at the finish line celebration.
