About the race

The race.

The Tradition Triathlon takes place April 18, 2026, in Biloxi, MS, at Tradition Lake in the Village at Tradition neighborhood. The sprint-distance event includes a 600-yard swim around the lake perimeter, a 16.2-mile bike course, and a 5K run through the Village at Tradition. Packet pickup occurs Friday, April 17 from 1–6 p.m. or Saturday, April 18 from 6–7:30 a.m. at the Tradition Master Amenities Center. The race starts at 8 a.m. with staggered swimming every 5 seconds by chip timing. Awards are given to the top three finishers in age groups (5-year divisions), overall male and female categories, masters, grandmasters, seniors, relay teams, high school, and Clydesdale and Athena divisions. Registration closes April 17 with no day-of registration available; swag is guaranteed only to the first 150 registered.
