The race.
The Trailhead 5K in Huntsville on September 12, 2026 features a hybrid course combining approximately 1.2 miles of paved greenway with 2 miles of singletrack trail through Hickory Cove Nature Preserve, finishing on the flat greenway. The race starts at 8:00 a.m., with packet pickup available Friday at Fleet Feet Huntsville from 12–5 p.m. Proceeds benefit the Land Trust of North Alabama.
