Tri the Parks - Don Carter State Park Sprint 2026

The race.

Tri the Parks hosts a sprint-distance triathlon, duathlon, and aquabike event on August 22, 2026, at Don Carter State Park in Gainesville, Georgia. The triathlon includes a 600-meter swim starting from the dock, a 10.9-mile bike course on northern Hall County roads, and a 5-kilometer run on two laps of a paved path. Duathlon and aquabike options follow modified versions of these courses. Race day registration opens at 6:00 a.m. with a field limit of 300 athletes; the race begins at 8:00 a.m. with an awards ceremony at 11:00 a.m. T-shirts are guaranteed only for registrations completed by August 8. Swim caps are provided in race packets and identify swim start positions; body marking with race number and age occurs at check-in. Parking opens at 6:00 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
