About the race
The race.
This 5K run and walk takes place in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 15, 2026, at Mahoney Park. Participants may run or walk the 3.1-mile distance. Registration includes an event T-shirt, guaranteed for those who register by July 27th. Packet pickup occurs Friday, August 14th (time and location to be confirmed) and Saturday, August 15th starting at 7:00 AM at Mahoney Park. Water stations will be available along the route and at the start/finish, and food vendors will be on-site. Bib numbers are required and must be displayed on the front of your outermost garment. All ages are welcome, and participants may use strollers, wheelchairs, and backpacks.
