Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk - Swansboro, NC 2026

The Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk in Swansboro, NC takes place September 19, 2026, featuring a 5K distance along with a virtual participant option. The event honors Stephen Siller and all those lost on September 11, 2001, while supporting first responders and military members through the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Packet pickup occurs Friday, September 18 from 4–7 p.m. or race morning from 6–7:30 a.m. at Swansboro Rec Center, the event site. Finisher medals are awarded to all who complete the course, with additional medals for fastest finishers in age, gender, and group categories. Water stations are positioned at three points along the route, with water, fruit, and snacks available at the finish line. T-shirts are distributed first-come, first-served to in-person participants only.
