About the race
The race.
Turkey Trail Trot and The Leftovers Race takes place November 26–27, 2026, in Shelby Township, MI, at Stony Creek Metropark. Thursday offers a half marathon, 10K, 6-mile, 4-mile, and 2-mile race on dirt trails with wave starts beginning at 8:00 AM. Friday features the same distances except the half marathon, with registration opening at 7:30 AM and races starting at 9:30 AM. All distances operate under a 3-hour time limit. Participants receive a finisher medal, a tech long-sleeve shirt or beanie (choice at registration), chip timing, and access to water and snacks. Two-day bundle participants receive custom gloves and a free drink coupon (first 250 entrants). Teams of six or more registered by November 22 receive a pie at packet pickup. Age group and open awards are available.
