Turkey Trot of Morgan County 2026

The race.

The Turkey Trot of Morgan County takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, in downtown Decatur, Alabama. Participants can choose between a 5K race starting at 8 a.m. or a 1-mile fun run/walk beginning at 9 a.m., both starting in front of First Baptist Church at 123 Church Street NE. Registration is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1-mile event. Packet pickup and t-shirt distribution occur on Wednesday, November 25 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Cross Eyed Owl Brewery, or Thursday morning from 6:45 to 7:45 a.m. at First Baptist Church. All proceeds benefit the United Way of Morgan County. Restrooms and parking are available near the start location.
