Vaquero Strong 5K 2026

The race.

The Vaquero Strong 5K takes place on October 24, 2026, in Irvine, California, with the 3.1-mile course starting and finishing at Irvine High Stadium, 4321 Walnut Ave. The 5K begins at 8:00 a.m., with race day activities starting at 6:30 a.m. All finishers receive a race t-shirt and medal, with awards given to top finishers in age divisions from under 5 through 70 and older. Coffee, food, and treats are available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Irvine High School students and staff, supporting the Mental Health Wellness Center, teacher grants, scholarships, and campus programs. Registration costs $30 (or $20 for ages 18 and under, $12 for ages 5 and under) through September 30; prices increase to $35, $25, and $12 respectively on October 1.
