The race.

The Veterans Day Freedom Run takes place November 14, 2026, in Sacramento, CA, offering 5K and 10K distances. Participants can choose from three wave start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, or 8:30 AM. The event welcomes all ages and paces, with running and walking options available. Finishers receive a race bib, technical running shirt (shipped to their US address), finisher's medal, finisher's towel or giveaway, digital training pack, online results, and certificate of completion. Timing is optional and can be tracked via personal apps or with coordinator assistance. Optional fundraising is available, with net proceeds directed to a charity of the participant's choice.
