About the race
The race.
The Virginia Beach XC Challenge Series features cross country racing on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 5:15 p.m., starting at Kellam High School's course. Runners can compete in a 4-kilometer distance on a flat course combining grass and trails. A 1.6-mile option is also available. The event is open to sixth through ninth grade runners for a $10 entry fee. Water and snacks are provided at the finish line.
