Watershed Endurance 6Hr/3Hr Runs 2026

The race.

The Watershed Endurance 6Hr/3Hr Runs takes place August 8, 2026, at the Watershed Nature Center in Edwardsville, Illinois. Participants choose either a 6-hour run (6:00 PM–midnight) or 3-hour run (9:00 PM–midnight) on a 1-mile loop combining crushed limestone and pavement. Competitors run, jog, walk, or rest as desired, with scoring based on loops completed and fastest finish time within the limit. Packet pickup occurs race day from 4:30 PM–9:00 PM at the Welcome Center. Awards go to male and female overall winners and top two finishers in age groups (29 & under, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+), plus a ruck division (minimum 20 lbs for women, 30 lbs for men). An aid station provides water, electrolyte drink, energy gels, fruit, and snacks; participants must bring their own cups. Headlamps or waist lamps are required after sunset. The event is limited to 120 participants.
