We Love Teachers 5K - Dallas-Fort Worth 2026

The race.

The We Love Teachers 5K takes place October 10, 2026, at Gateway Park in Fort Worth as part of a coordinated 10-city national event organized by Move A Nation. The 5K offers standard, educator, and under-18 entry options with chip timing. Registration and packet pickup run from 7:00–7:55 a.m., with the race starting at 8:00 a.m. All finishers receive an official race shirt (distributed after the race) and medal. Awards include overall male and female categories plus age groups (14 and under through 60+), with special categories for school spirit, fastest teacher, team champion, and parent-child duo. Participants may dedicate their run to a teacher who receives a digital certificate of appreciation. Finish line activities include music, food, and prizes through 11:00 a.m.
