Wolfdog Moon 2026

The race.

The Wolfdog Moon takes place on August 28, 2026, in Fort Worth, Texas, featuring nighttime trail running under the full moon. Participants can choose a 5K (one loop) or 10K (two loops) on a grassy and gravel course with some pavement along the Trinity River in downtown Fort Worth. The course includes one climb per loop. Water stations are positioned on the course, with water, sports drink, and snacks available at the start and finish. Finishers receive custom full-color bibs, chip timing, full-color t-shirts, and custom medals, with age group and overall awards presented. Registration must close by August 16 to guarantee t-shirt sizes. Race proceeds benefit a local wolfdog sanctuary.
