Zombie Run 2026

The race.

This October event in Wilmington features two running options: a 3.1-mile non-timed course with zombies attempting to pull flags from runners' belts, and a 1-mile family-friendly run/walk. Participants in the 3.1-mile event who finish with at least one flag intact qualify for additional prizes, and the first 50 to do so receive bonus recognition. All participants receive a t-shirt. The 1-mile option welcomes children with Halloween baskets for trick-or-treating and photo opportunities with zombies. Minimum age for the 3.1-mile event is 12 years; children are encouraged to bring a parent. Proceeds benefit Lyceum Academy's educational trips and program opportunities.
