Connect Strava first

Open My account, then Connections, and connect Strava. PodiumBase asks Strava for the permissions shown during authorization and returns you to your account when the connection succeeds.

If Strava is already connected but your recent activity looks stale, use the refresh control before disconnecting. Read Connecting Strava for connection and privacy details.

Open Your training

Go to My account → Your training. The page is private to your signed-in account and has three possible parts:

  1. A mirror of recent training fields PodiumBase received from the connected provider.
  2. Suggested race matches that need your confirmation.
  3. Race recommendations based on your training profile and home region.

If there is not enough connected data yet, the page shows an empty state instead of guessing.

Confirm a suggested race match

A suggested match means an activity appears to line up with a race; it is not yet treated as your confirmed result. Review the race and activity, then accept the match only when they refer to the same effort. Decline a suggestion that is a training run, a different event, or someone else's result.

Confirmation helps PodiumBase associate your own races and media. It does not publish private Strava activity details as a public training log.

Read a recommendation

Recommendations can include a fit reason and an estimated finish. The estimate is a deterministic planning aid based on the available profile, not a promise, medical advice, or a substitute for the race's official result.

No recommendations usually means one of three things:

  • Strava is not connected or has not refreshed.
  • PodiumBase does not yet have enough training data.
  • Your home region is missing, so nearby races cannot be selected.

Set or correct the region when prompted, refresh the connection, and check again later.
