How much do race photos cost
What is free, what a single photo and a bundle cost, and why the price differs between races.

Are race photos free on PodiumBase?
It depends on the event and which photos have been published for you. Some organizers or sponsors fund a free gallery, while other galleries sell individual photos or bundles.
At an effectively free event, eligible published photos can be downloaded at no athlete charge. The gallery can deliver a clean full-resolution file when that derivative is ready; otherwise it can fall back to an eligible watermarked, race-branded asset. The race page is the authority for what your event currently offers.
What does a single photo cost?
Prices are set by PodiumBase rather than by individual photographers, and they depend on the photographer's tier:
- A Pro photo is $14.99.
- A Community photo is $3.99.
Pro photographers are verified and shoot with professional equipment. Community photographers are often spectators and club members shooting the same race. Both find you the same way; the difference is the photographer and the price.
What about buying several photos?
Most races offer bundles that work out cheaper per photo than buying singles:
- An event pack, covering the eligible published matches included for that race.
- An all-event pass, covering eligible published matches included by participating photographers at that event.
Some races also sell a discounted photo pack during registration, before the race has even happened. If you are registering and know you will want the photos, that is the cheapest route.
Why is the price different at my race?
Because what is on offer varies by event. Which bundles exist, whether the race runs in free mode, and how many photographers covered it are all set per race. The race page is the authority for your event.
Do I pay a subscription?
No. Photos are one-time purchases and the licence is yours to keep. There is no PodiumBase subscription for runners.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Refunds and order problems are handled by a person so we can look up your specific purchase. Ask the help assistant and it will route you. If you were shown photos that turned out not to be you, see I was shown someone else's photos.
Full pricing by photographer tier is on the pricing page.
