The race.
The 2026 Memorial Day 5K Virtual Run takes place during Memorial Day weekend in Citrus Heights, CA. Participants can run or walk the 5K distance from any location of their choice and submit results online anytime during the weekend. All fitness levels are welcome. Finishers receive a memorial tribute t-shirt and a commemorative digital finisher medal. Participants are invited to share photos—including finish line moments, flag displays, and military remembrance tributes—by emailing runday2026@gmail.com; selected photos may be featured in an official recap video and online gallery.
