30th Annual Summerfest 5K Run/Walk & Kids Fun Run 2026

The race.

The 30th Annual Summerfest 5K Run/Walk takes place Saturday, July 18, 2026, at the East Berlin Area Community Center in East Berlin, PA, with a gunshot start at 8:00 a.m. The 3.1-mile race features 15 age groups ranging from 14 and under through 81 and older, with medals awarded to all age group finishers and overall cash prizes for first through third place ($150, $125, and $100 respectively). A separate Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45 a.m. with prizes for all participants. Packet and bib pickup occurs Saturday morning from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m., with in-person registration also available Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Finishers receive complimentary water bottles and towels, and post-race food is available during award presentations. Raffle and door prizes are offered to runners and spectators. Jogging strollers are permitted.
