On July 4, 2026, Four on the Fourth takes place at Mission Hike & Bike Trails in Mission, Texas. The 4-mile race starts at 7:30 a.m., followed by a 1-mile fun run/walk at 7:40 a.m.; participants should arrive by 7:00 a.m. Packet pickup occurs July 3rd from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Valley Running in McAllen. All finishers receive medals and race shirts (shirt deadline June 19th for guaranteed supply). The 4-miler includes chip timing and live results, with awards for overall male and female winners plus eight age groups (13 and under through 70+). Amenities include DJ music, free race photos, local vendor booths, and a patriotic photo area.
