Description
This training program is specially designed for individuals aspiring to complete a 5K race. It caters to both beginners and those looking to start running, with the primary goal of guiding participants to the finish line.
Program Details:
Duration: 5 week program with 8 to 10 sessions. Training sessions are on Mondays and Thursdays. Start Date: Thursday July 16, 2026, at 6:00 PM, all other weeks meet on Mondays & Thursdays at 6pm. Average Session Length: 30-45 minutes (Note: This excludes a 5-minute warm-up and a 5-minute cool-down) Location: Kelley’s Pace Mystic Cost: $35 Race Event: Battle of Stonington 5K, scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 6:15 PM Complete 5K training Plan will be provided at first meeting.

Participants will receive a $5 discount on registration for the Battle of Stonington 5k, as well as a 10% discount on shoes, socks, and apparel at Kelley’s Pace.
