About the race
The race.
The Austin Jingle Bell 5K takes place December 6, 2026, in Austin, TX, benefiting Mothers Against Drunk Driving of Central Texas. Participants can choose between a 3.1-mile race, 1-mile run, or virtual option. The in-person event starts and finishes at The Lawn near IPIC Theatre at Amy Donovan Plaza, with race-day check-in from 7–8 a.m. Virtual runners have until December 12 to submit results. Packet pickup occurs December 5 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Fleet Feet Gateway. The first 800 registrants receive an event t-shirt; top three finishers in each age division earn medals, and all children 12 and under receive participation medals.
