Baby Steps Memorial Run 2026

The race.

Baby Steps Memorial Run takes place October 1, 2026, in Springville, AL at Homestead Hollow (1161 Murphrees Valley Road). Participants can register for a chip-timed 5K, a 1-mile fun run, or a virtual challenge covering 3.1 miles. Race day begins at 7 a.m. with same-day registration and packet pickup; the 5K starts at 8 a.m. followed by the fun run. Packet pickup is also available Thursday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Amelia Center in Birmingham. Awards are given for top three finishers in gender and age categories for the 5K and fun run, as well as for top fundraisers and largest pre-registered team. All pre-registered participants receive a race shirt with memorial names included in the design.
