Barney's Run for Warriors 2026

The race.

Barney's Run for Warriors takes place November 14, 2026, in Albany, GA, featuring a half marathon (13.1 miles), 10K, 5K, and 1-mile race. All three longer distances are USATF certified and run on nearly flat, paved courses through Albany neighborhoods. Race start times are 8:30 a.m. for the half marathon, 8:45 a.m. for the 10K and 5K, and 9:00 a.m. for the 1 mile. Packet pickup occurs Friday, November 13th (location to be announced) or race morning from 7:45–8:45 a.m. at Phoebe Northwest, 2336 Dawson Rd. Finishers receive medals in all distances; the 10K and 5K also award medals to top three finishers in nine age groups (10 & under through 70+). All participants receive t-shirts and swag bags; t-shirt registration deadline is November 5th. Cash prizes go to overall male and female winners in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Dogs may join runners in the 1-mile, 5K, or 10K. Race proceeds benefit K9s for Warriors, which provides service dogs to area veterans.
