Battle on the Bayou 8ish mile & Half the Battle 4 mile 2026

The race.

Battle on the Bayou takes place March 22, 2026, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, featuring paddling races on Old Fort Bayou. Participants can enter the 8-mile or 4-mile out-and-back distances, both starting and finishing at Gulf Hills Resort. Registration occurs March 21 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., with no day-of registration available. All finishers receive custom medals, presented at an awards ceremony at noon. Participants get comfort-fit tank top shirts and food including Subway sandwiches and Burger Box options. An ACA membership discount of $10 applies to the race fee.
