Bellingham Bay Marathon 2026

The race.

The Bellingham Bay Marathon takes place September 20, 2026, in Bellingham, WA, offering four distance options: a 26.2-mile marathon, 13.1-mile half marathon, 10K, and 5K. The full marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. at Lummi Nation School and finishes at Depot Market Square; the half marathon, 10K, and 5K all start at Depot Market Square at 9:00, 9:15, and 9:30 a.m. respectively. Pre-race packet pickup is Saturday, September 19 from 1:00–6:00 p.m. at Bellingham Cruise Terminal, with day-of pickup available beginning at 5:45 a.m. on race day. One hundred percent of net proceeds support Whatcom County youth nonprofits, including the Whatcom Football Club Rangers and Bellingham Bay Swim Team. A finish line celebration with live music and a beer garden begins at 10:00 a.m.
