Cherry City Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Kids Race 2026

The race.

The Cherry City Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Race takes place September 13, 2026, at Riverfront Park in Salem, Oregon. Race start times are 8:00 a.m. for the half marathon, 8:05 a.m. for the 10K, 8:10 a.m. for the 5K, and 10:30 a.m. for the untimed kids race (0.4 miles). All race courses conclude by 12:30 p.m. Finishers receive an official race shirt and medal. Post-race amenities include live music, food truck offerings, and complimentary beverages from the event sponsor. Awards are given to top three finishers in overall, masters (40+), and age group categories across all distances. Packet pickup is available Friday 9/11 from 4–8 p.m. and Saturday 9/12 from 1–5 p.m., with day-of pickup Sunday 9/13 from 6–7:45 a.m.
