The race.

The Chrysanthemum Virtual Race 2026, part of the Language of Flowers Series, takes place September 1–December 31, 2026, and offers participants a choice of five distances: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, half marathon (13.1 miles), and marathon (26.2 miles). This virtual race can be completed from any location at your own pace. Registration includes an official digital race bib, a finisher medal with autumn-inspired colors featuring the chrysanthemum flower and the series motto "Where Every Mile Blooms," and the ability to submit results online. Medals ship in August 2026. Fifteen percent of all registration fees are donated to a wildlife conservation and habitat protection organization. Virtual Run Events has donated more than $1 million to charities over 13 years.
