The race.

Colors for Children's takes place Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Auburn, Alabama, benefiting the Children's Hospital of Alabama. The event includes a 5K race starting at 8:30 a.m. and a 1-mile fun run beginning at 8:00 a.m., both held on and around the Auburn High School campus near the baseball field parking lot. Race packet pickup opens at 7:15 a.m. on race day at the registration tables by the athletic building; early bib pickup is also available Friday, March 26, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the AHS Media Center. Participants should enter through the Glenn Avenue entrance and park in the Blue Lot. Race-day registration is available for $55 (5K) or $25 (1-mile), with cash, check, or online payment accepted.
