About the race
The race.
This course teaches adult and child CPR, AED operation, and first aid techniques including injury assessment, bleeding control, and shock management. Participants complete three hours of online coursework before attending an in-person skills session at the Richmond Road Runners clubhouse in Richmond, VA on May 17, 2026. Full attendance at both the online and in-person portions is required to earn a two-year certification that meets OSHA standards. The certificate and workbook are provided electronically. The course is designed for professionals such as teachers and coaches.
